これはFirewallのみをインストールした場合です。 アンチウイルスも一緒にインストールした場合はConfigurationがCOMODO - Internet Securityになります。
■インストール編 ・「Customize Installer」でインストールする項目を選択する。 ・「COMODO GeekBuddy」と「COMODO Dragon」のチェックを外す（推奨）。 ・インストール直後のスタートアップ時にDefense+を使いたくない人は「Enabled Defense+」のチェックを外しておく（非推奨）。 ・細かく制御したい人は「Do NOT show alerts that 〜」のチェックを外しておく（中、上級ユーザー用）。 ・メイン画面に戻り、クラウド機能を無効にしたい人は「I want to enable "Cloud Based Behavior Analsis" 〜」のチェックを外す。 ・全て整ったら「Agree and Install」 をクリックしてインストール。 ・再起動後はCOMODOの広告画面が出るので、画面左下の「Do not show this window again」にチェックし閉じる。 ・「New Network Detected〜」の画面が出るので、左下の「Do not detect new networks again」にチェックし、ネットワーク接続が家なら「I am at Home」を、仕事場なら「I am at WORK」を、公共の場所なら「I am at PUBLIC PLACE」を選択する。
■とりあえず最初にやること ・Firewall Security Level、Alert Frequency LevelとDefense+ Security Levelを好みに応じて変更（Safe Modeが推奨）。 ・Enable IPv6 filteringを必要に応じてチェック。 ・通信時のアニメーションが不要ならShow traffic animation in the trayのチェックを外す。 ・PCが一台の人はThis computer is an internet connection gateway (i.e. an ICS Server)のチェックを外す。 ・クラウドスキャナーを無効にしたい人はAutomatically scan unrecognized files in the cloudのチェックを外す。 ・毎日使うような安心出来るソフトやベンダーはTrusted FilesとTrusted Software Vendorsで登録。 ・Preferencesで自動アップデートやCOMODOのメッセージが要らない人はチェックを外したり、好みの言語やスキンに変更。 ・Sandboxが必要な人は有効にする。
As the whole proxy based process of filtering connections brings some confusion (such as this) over time, we are planning to remove the proxy from future versions of avast and replace it with other techniques. Please stay tuned.
